The proposeal is simple,to use green energy, for example, wind turbines and solar panels to provide energy requirements for strategically placed distribution warehouses around the country. The placement of these warehouses or distribution centres will have to take into consideration the amount of heavy traffic from urban and large towns across the country, the amont of green energy that can be harvested. The central idea is to have all deliveries to shops and businesses delivered to one central location in or around large towns and urban areas and using electric vehicles to transport goods to thier final destination. This provides jobs in planning ,construction, warhousing, delivery personnel, total logistics in general. The vehicles are charged via green energy, the warehouse becomes self sustaining and it elliminates heavy traffic from town and urban centres and will also generate jobs or sustain jobs in maintenance contratcs in upkeeping green energy hardware.

We have some of the finest renewable energy & precipitation sources in the world. We also have some of the mot beautiful scenery in the world.
However most of these resorces remain unharvested & when we eventually do start generating from renewable sources our infrastructure is not good enough to make power export a viable option.
We could feasably export water but at times we can't even cope with our own water needs.
Our beautiful scenery can often be only seen safely by car as we have no footpaths or cycle lanes and the scenery is scared by the proliferation of telephone & electric cables on telegraph poles.
We also have a massive human resourse out of work in the construction industry.
The Utilities Interlink is proposed to provide a realistic and achievable system to link utilities to all our towns and cities while providing cycle lanes & footpaths.
At the moment all our utilities follow there own tracks around the country. However all centres of population are linked More...

A recent EU report shows that the black economy in Ireland is 16% of our GDP and costs the Exchequer millions in unpaid taxes. Hiring legitimate, tax-paying tradespeople is often a more expensive option and households now see the ‘black economy’ as an easy way to save some money during these hard times.
I propose a scheme which will greatly increase tax revenue which will otherwise be lost to the black economy. This proposal not only increases tax revenue, but will have a positive effect on employment too.

The circle city is a concept I have developed over many years and there is too much in the plan to write it all here, but essentially it is a means to an end and part of that end too.
***
It is a way to source the money to develop the whole world, from where the money is, in the hands of the richer 20% of the world's population.
***
By selling shares in these brand new eco-cities to those who can afford them that will inject truly massive amounts of money back into the world economy that the rich are effectively sitting on.
***
The rich will benefit by getting to live this new lifestyle, the workers will benefit from all the new work generated. Forget unemployment, we'll need every able body on the planet to do whatever work they can.
***
Along with these new cities will be a new transport system. Simple and robust. Nothing too fancy. Not high speed maglev (though that could be part of the mix). Say goodbye to motor accidents and high speed rail crashes, and for the most part the More...

Currently Ireland probably ranks somewhere in the middle tier of developed economies in terms of the standards of care we provide for our ageing population. This proposal identifies an opportunity which exists to establish Ireland as a Centre of Excellence for Ageing internationally, thereby not only improving the standards of care enjoyed by our ageing population but also creating significant employment and inward investment opportunities for a number of sectors of our economy. If successful, the proposal has the potential to benefit communities throughout Ireland by building on industries and relationships where we have already established strengths internationally, by utilising existing infrastructure and by re-deploying existing resources to address key gaps/weaknesses in the supports and services which exist within the community for those growing old. The vision is to achieve standards of Excellence which other countries will aspire towards and to do so in such a way that creates More...

Basically my proposal would be to utilise the existing canals that travel into the centre of Ireland and convert the pathways along them into continuous bicycle paths.
The idea would be to utilise a tremendous existing natural resource, i.e. Ireland's natural beauty and the tranquil canals that could bring legions of tourists along a safe route through Ireland.
The scheme would involve the purchase of strips of land alongside both the Grand Canal and Royal Canal in that modern, pleasant and safe cycle paths could be constructed.
Many jobs would be created in the construction and maintenance of the cycle paths and in addition the maintenance of bicycles that would be provided in a scheme similar to that of the 'dublin bikes' scheme.
Tourists would be encouraged to cycle, use barges or a combination of both as they travel at leisure through the serene countryside. Boats companies would also be able to employ extra people in order to maintain the extra barges needed. The idea would b More...

Your building contractor asks you for a 50% deposit of €20,000.00 up front for the window manufacturer on your new house project. What do you do? What if the builder goes out of business after you give him the money? What if the window manufacturer goes out of business? The window manufacturer doesn’t trust you or the builder and won’t even order materials until he has a 50% deposit as security. The builder doesn’t trust anyone, he’s suspicious of the Employer’s reticence in parting with his money and doesn’t want to pay his sub-contractors until he secures his own payments.
Welcome to the post “Celtic Tiger” world of Irish Construction.

Modelled on Disneyland Paris, Irish-Land will be a theme park with a difference – it will combine the all the fun and excitement of a theme park with Irish culture. Located within 1 hour of Dublin, and close to a motorway and rail line, its target market will be Ireland, U.K., mainland Europe and in general the Irish Diaspora worldwide. During its construction hundreds of jobs will be created and hundreds more will be sustained in the day to day running of the park. As much as possible of the park will be under roof due to our weather conditions. Irish music, dance, language, history and culture will be promoted through shows, gift shops, parades and themed restaurants. Alongside the roller coasters and other rides there will be play barns and a water park. Catering for young and old, Irish-Land will promote craic and Irishness to a local and global audience, while creating jobs and generating a positive net inflow of cash to the economy. If you liked Riverdance, you’ll love Irish- More...
